A little about me
Hi, I’m Misho. Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I enjoy discovering new places, capturing moments with my camera, making music, and listening to it through a good Hi-Fi system. I’m also curious about how things work, which is probably why I sometimes prefer to build something myself rather than simply buy it.
This website is where I bring all those interests together. It’s part travel diary, part photo album, part music collection, and part workshop.
Travel
For me, travelling is about more than ticking famous sights off a list. I enjoy exploring cities and landscapes, learning a little about their history, and finding out what a place is really like once you get there.
Over the years, my journeys have taken me from European cities and Alpine lakes to places further away, such as Kuala Lumpur. Along the way, there have been beautiful views, interesting discoveries, long queues, questionable hotel rooms, and the occasional overpriced coffee.
In my travel stories, I share the places I’ve visited, the things I’ve learned, and my own impressions—with a bit of humour along the way.
Photography
My camera usually comes along for the ride, but my interest in photography goes beyond travel. I enjoy photographing nature, buildings and cities, animals, cars, and the small details that are easy to miss until you look a little closer.
Some photographs bring back memories of a journey; others simply capture something that caught my eye. Either way, each one is a small part of how I see the world.
Music
Music has always been a special way for me to express ideas and emotions. I enjoy playing and composing, especially with the piano and keyboards, and this site is home to a selection of my own music.
Each piece began with an idea, a melody, or simply a moment of inspiration. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Hi-Fi & DIY
I love listening to music, but I’m also fascinated by the technology behind the sound. A good audio system can reveal details in a familiar recording and make listening feel like a new experience.
My interest in Hi-Fi has led me to explore different components, put together my own home audio and video system, and take on DIY projects. There’s something especially satisfying about listening to music through a piece of equipment you’ve built yourself—assuming everything works when you switch it on.
